The test room is pretty much my crappy server. I might host one directly from the VPS in the near future (already discussed this with ken-chan). But yes, I'll provide a password once I get it up.

[INFO-UPDATE] (October 10th, '15)

Here's a little update;
During the beta stage I gathered enough data and bugs to proceed to developing Doghouse Framework 3.0. The code right now is extremely messy and inefficient.


Post-Beta Phase:


  • Doghouse Framework 3.0
  • New Administration Script






Apart from that I've been thinking to open-source the framework. Which means it will be available on github as well as usgn.de for anyone to download and implement it onto their servers. Note: I might do this.

Bug Hunting!

Update:
- [completed] re-worked events module
- [completed] re-worked user module
- [fix] No more round/event bugs whatsoever
- [working] re-working menu API (it's actually an API now, yes)
- [working] say command modules with a "!" delimiter. Which means no more '>menu' but '!menu'. And yes, the F4 key is binded to the menu.
- [removed] HC Admin Script. I'll be replacing it with Y.A.T.E.S


I'll be putting up a new server soon for testing the re-worked script. If you want to participate in the bug hunt, PM me and I'll provide a password.

Here's an update on the progress.

- Finished Menu API
- Finished Menu Structure
- 3/4th done with Market/Inventory
- More effects and market items!
- Options (Show/Hide your badge on spray, show/hide streak notifications)
- Event updates
- Increased slots in player saves *
- Your attributes/inventory items won't be visible if you're wearing a stealth suit so your presence isn't compromised.
- xp/xpc bonuses if you plant/detonate/defuse a bomb.
The Menu can accessed through the F4 button.

The script is now more efficient. User saves happen at 4 places.
1. Round End
2. Map Change
3. Save Waves
4. Player leaves the server

Save waves occur every 10 minutes.
Before it happened whenever a player killed/died. Which meant constant opening user saves/writing during the round. This should cause less lags, by a tad.

There's a "reset score" option in the menu as well with a cooldown period of 10 seconds; you can only reset your score every 10 seconds. This should probably prevent any score bugs.

I've also added a "Help" menu which explains aspects of the game, menu options and commands.

Oh, and if you send someone XPC via ">send [id] [amount]", a menu will pop up asking whether you really want to send money to that individual or not. Added this to prevent any scam.

Round End Notifications; When the round ends, you'll be presented with what you did during the round. E.g Kills, xp/xpc gained. And yes, if you level up during the round, it'll be displayed at the round end. It will be public.
E.g "Nighthawk is now Level 5". No screenies yet because I'll be working on this on the end.


You can access most of the F4 menu via say commands as well. Your delimiter would be "@" since I wouldn't want it interfering with another admin script which would have "!" set as it's prefix command delimiter.

The command list so far;

Other than that, a few map patches.
- The portal bug near the CT base shouldn't be possible anymore.
- Cell Purging. This replaces the old method of "hurting" players if they're in the cells. The damage is now 30hp/sec. Cell purging initiates 30 seconds after the round starts. Which means you have 34 seconds to get out or you're dead if you don't a have medic. Well, if you do, you get to stay alive for a few more seconds. Nevertheless, you'd die in 40~ seconds. I haven't added any patches for super armors since it's rare.
- The two rooms, usually dedicated to CT/TT will be sealed during events to prevent camping.



I've still got some more internal stuff to finish plus polishing plus my lethargy I'll have the script available for testing by 1~2 weeks on -[IFwsI]- Laboratory. If you've got any suggestions for the script, now would be the best time.




* Your save data had 3 slots at first. These slots contain your data. 1 slot contains your xp, another your xpc, another your inventory. During the beta phase in the second version of the framework I added a 4th slot which was your active inventory. Active inventory is the items you've applied. So whenever you come back to the server, it won't forget the attributes you've on. Remember the "Found old-type save data, converting" messages? Yeah that was that.
You'll now have 7 slots. Most of them are reserved. Ofcourse, I'll make sure everyone's savedata is converted to prevent any issues but just in case your usersave gets corrupted (a notification will be displayed if it is), remember to report it.

Alllright, another update.

- The market/inventory is finished and more robust
- You can show/hide round end notifications, streaks and your badge now
- I've taken complete advantages of the reserved slots which will now hold your info regarding server options (notifications, streaks, badges)
- Better say colors + commands API
- Re-did Effects/Attributes

The commands, as I said before work after the > delimiter. Just writing ">" won't do anything. Also, you need to have the correct syntax for a command to work. ">send 1" won't work. ">send 1 500" will.

Also, I've raised bomb explode/diffuse XPC bonuses to 50.

I've got a few more tweaks to make then I'll start the hosting. I don't have much eye candy because can't show most of the effects via images, so have this for now until a few days.
Oh and no more need for PMs requesting the password. I'll put the server up without any pw. Everyone will get 500000xpc and level 5 upon joining. If you want to test a higher level then you can ask for it.

if the [info]round 2/10 etc thingy is in chat in start of every round with that color i think it would be better not to have it, don't think anyone will choose to see them in options, looks so complicated. if there is an option to turn off only round thingies then that's okay.

if there is a way to remove the "-1-"s in the titles of the menus it would be nice, looks annoying.

don't know how did you radio "lelwat" but that's amazing.
why even the [dead] thingy is white. too much color in everything is bad in my opinion.

on the place where you see your level xpc etc on the screen, like XP(blue):   9(white)/250(blue), it seems that you switched to colors for some reason but i think it is better in the current version

if you could remove the [info] from the welcoming message, that'd be amazing

That's just debug material. I added before adding the "Round 1:50" hud text at the bottom. I'll remove it once debugging phase is over.

Can't do that now, it's part of my Menu API. It's how the menu knows the page you're on. Don't worry tho, I was planning on re-writing the menu API using better methods after a while. Can't do anything now because the api is a bit complicated. I'm trying to get this done asap so it can't be now. o.o

The radio lel wat is team chat. I simply changed "(team)" to "[radio]". I'll see what I can do with the color.
